Practice Guidelines

Practice on empty stomach, bladder, and bowels 

 

Choose quiet, well-lit, airy space for your practice

 

Use soothing (instrumental) music, colors, or smells

 

Begin practice half hour (or later) after waking up

 

Start with warm-ups; close with breathing practice

 

​Maintain long, controlled, & full abdominal breath

 

Keep movements slow, deliberate, and in full focus

 

Balance all postures with suitable counter stretches

 

When done, cool down before taking a hot shower

 

Come to terms with your body; when in pain, let go.
